FAQ
FAQ: FREQUENT ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I trust the tickets sold on Toronto Ticket Market?
You can absolutely trust the tickets on torontoticketmarket.com! The tickets on Toronto Ticket Market are sold by licensed sellers. If your event is canceled and not rescheduled, Toronto Ticket Market, in its sole discretion, will provide you with a full refund of the purchase price or, subject to applicable laws, issue you a credit for use on a future purchase.
Where are my tickets?
Although tickets can be delivered to your account instantly, there may be a period of time between your order confirmation and when you receive the tickets. You may not receive mobile transfer tickets until within 24 hours of the event due to delayed release policies that venues use to keep your tickets safe.
What are the seat numbers for my tickets?
All of our ticket information comes directly from vendors and sellers. They don't always specify seat numbers when listing their tickets, and we can only display the information they provide. We can assure you that all tickets within the same listing will be right next to each other unless otherwise stated in the ticket notes (i.e. piggyback, across aisle, etc).
Can I change, cancel, or get a refund on my order?
Toronto Ticket Market is a marketplace that sells tickets from a variety of sources. This means there are different ticket changes, cancelation, and refund policies depending on your order details. Please contact us for more information.
What happens if my event is canceled or postponed?
While we always want events listed on our site to occur safely and as scheduled, if your event was officially canceled by the venue or event promoter, there is no need to worry! Toronto Ticket Market will reach out to you with options for your refund. If an event is postponed, marked TBD, or rescheduled your tickets will most likely be valid for the new date, although this will depend on the venue’s policy. Toronto Ticket Market and our sellers are unable to offer refunds for rescheduled events unless the event is canceled outright by the artist, team, or venue, or the law directly stipulates otherwise.
I entered the wrong email or shipping address for my order. How can I change it?
If you entered your email wrong or your shipping address, please contact us by scrolling down and tapping Contact Us.
What are Standing Room Only (SRO) or General Admission (GA) tickets?
When you purchase tickets on torontoticketmaster.com, you may see tickets labeled SRO or GA. SRO stands for Standing Room Only and GA stands for General Admission. When tickets are labeled this way, it indicates that they are standing-room tickets in a general admission section with no assigned seat.
What if my SRO or GA tickets have a seat number? SRO or GA tickets may sometimes display with a seat number. This is typically done for inventory purposes and does not correspond to a seat. Standing Room Only tickets will never provide a seat. Unless specifically stated otherwise for GA tickets, General Admission tickets will also not include a seat.
My tickets aren't working. What should I do?
First, make sure you are presenting your tickets in the correct format. For example, a venue may require you to display your ticket digitally off of a mobile device instead of as a printed ticket. Second, if you are displaying your tickets off of a mobile device, make sure that your brightness is up so that the ticket scanning device can properly read it.
Did my order go through?
After ordering tickets on torontoticketmarket.com, we’ll communicate status updates about your order via email. This can include if your order is pending, confirmed, fulfilled, or canceled. You'll find out if your order is canceled or confirmed within 24 hours of placing your order. If your order is confirmed, then your tickets will be sent to you via email or shipped to you, in time for the event.
Can I buy a ticket to an event that has already started?
The short answer? Usually. Each event and venue may have different regulations but for the most part, if tickets are still available on torontoticketmarket.com, you should be able to buy tickets for that event.
Some notable exceptions are Broadway and classical music productions which tend to have very strict door and start time policies, music festivals which require physical tickets or wristbands to be mailed to you beforehand, some postseason sporting events like multi-session tournaments, and more.
Does Toronto Ticket Market sell gift cards?
Torontoticketmarket.com does not sell gift cards or gift certificates at this time. Any service that's selling a Toronto Ticket Market gift card is likely not legitimate.
